Lessons built around one swimmer

No lanes, no queue, no whistle. Just you, the water, and a coach whose whole attention is on what you are doing.

Water confidence

For adults starting from fear or a bad memory. Facial immersion, breathing and floating, built in small stages that actually hold.

Stroke correction

You can already swim, but it is heavy and inefficient. We rebuild body position, catch, kick and breathing rhythm from the ground up.

Mobility & strength

Shoulders, hips, back and neck. If your body cannot get into the position, no amount of technique coaching will fix the stroke.

What you get

Every session includes

  • One-to-one coaching in the water with you, not shouted from the side.
  • All equipment provided — kickboards, noodles and any aids we need.
  • A plan for next time, so you know exactly what you are working on.
  • Video analysis as we go, so progress is something you can see.
  • Drills you can practise alone between sessions, if you want to.

Session length

Thirty or sixty minutes

Beginners often do better with 30 minutes to start — concentrating in water is more tiring than people expect. Once you are comfortable, an hour gets far more done.

Rates depend on session length, where we swim, and whether you book a block. Give me a call and we will work out what suits you.

Where we swim

Your pool, or mine

Most lessons happen at the client's own pool or their apartment complex pool. Learning somewhere familiar, with nobody else watching, removes a surprising amount of the pressure.

If you do not have access to a pool, I have one you can use. Either way, all equipment comes with me.

Questions

Before you book

Do I need to be able to swim already?

No. A lot of my clients start unable to put their face in the water. We begin with standing and walking in the pool and build from there, at whatever pace you need.

Where do the lessons take place?

Either at your own pool or your apartment complex pool, or at a pool I have access to — whichever is more convenient for you.

Do I need to bring any equipment?

No. All equipment is provided, including kickboards, pool noodles and any other aids we use. You just need swimwear, and goggles if you have them.

How long is a lesson?

Either 30 or 60 minutes. Beginners often do better with 30 minute sessions at first, since concentrating in the water is more tiring than people expect.

How much do lessons cost?

Rates depend on session length, location, and whether you book a block of lessons. Call 0424 620 511 and we can work out what suits you.

Do you teach children?

My focus is adults, but I am more than happy to teach children as well. Get in touch and we can talk about whether it is a good fit.

Which areas do you cover?

Rouse Hill and the surrounding North-West Sydney suburbs. If you are slightly further out, ask anyway — it is often workable.
